Sharp where it counts

Forged high-carbon steel, hand-polished to a keen satin edge that glides through prep instead of tearing it.

Balanced in the hand

Weight sits evenly between blade and handle, so long prep sessions ask less of your wrist and arm.

Built to last

Tableware-grade stainless resists rust, corrosion and staining. Hand wash, dry, and it stays true for years.

Gift-ready set

Arrives in a clean presentation box — the kind of thing you're happy to hand over, not just hand down.

A dull, cheap kitchen knife
The everyday frustration

A dull knife does more than slow you down.

A blunt blade slips instead of biting — bruising herbs, crushing tomatoes, and forcing you to press harder, which is exactly when accidents happen. Most block sets look the part and lose their edge within months.

Thin, stamped supermarket knives flex under pressure and never sit right in the hand. You end up with a drawer full of blades you don't reach for.

Why these knives

Forged steel that earns its place on the bench.

Each blade is forged from 5Cr15MoV high-carbon stainless, hardened to 56±2 HRC, then hand-polished to a satin finish. That's the balance you want at home: hard enough to hold a keen edge, forgiving enough to re-sharpen in minutes.

A 2.0 mm spine gives real heft behind the cut, while the warm wood handle and polished bolster keep the whole knife balanced in your grip. Rust-, corrosion- and stain-resistant — hand wash, dry, and it's ready for the next meal.

Buy the set, save the most

The whole kitchen, for less than the sum of its blades

Bought separately, all four knives come to $160.00. As the full set, they're $99.00 — the same steel, one honest price.

Every blade is forged from 5Cr15MoV high-carbon stainless steel — a proven Japanese-style kitchen alloy that balances edge retention with easy re-sharpening.

Washing: hand wash in warm soapy water and dry straight away. Like all quality kitchen knives, these are not dishwasher knives — a quick towel dry keeps the blade and handle in top form.

Storage: keep them in the box, on a magnetic strip or in a block — loose in a drawer dulls the edge and isn't safe.

Keeping the edge: a few passes on a diamond + ceramic sharpener brings the edge back in minutes. Many cooks add ours to keep every blade razor-true.

Good questions

Answered, honestly

We recommend hand washing and drying, like any quality kitchen knife. The steel is corrosion-resistant, but a quick hand wash protects both the edge and the wood handle for the long haul.

A few passes on a diamond + ceramic sharpener restores the edge in minutes. You can add our Japanese sharpener to your order above.

The Chef's Knife is your everyday all-rounder; the Cleaver handles bone, squash and heavy prep; the Chopping Knife excels at push-cut slicing and vegetables; the Kitchen Knife is for trimming and smaller jobs. The full set covers all four.

Most people start with the Full Set of 4 — it's the best value and covers every job. If you want a smaller kit, the Chopping + Chef's pair handles the majority of everyday prep.

Every order ships with tracking. You'll get a confirmation and tracking link as soon as your knives are on their way, with delivery estimates shown at checkout for your address.
